Description… Join GranFondo Cycling Tours on the epic French Alps Haute Route 7 day Granfondo/ Cyclosportif event. This 7 stage 450 mile odyssey through 3 countries is open to all cyclists . The ride will be timed but it does not have to be a race. This journey begins in Geneva and travels across the Alps legendary cols, from north to south, finishing on the shores of the Cote D’Azur in Nice. The tour will start off just outside Geneva where we will spend a couple of days to rid ourselves of jetlag and enjoy rides near Lake Annecy before embarking on the Haute Route.

Day 1: Foothills warm up – 25 mi (40 km)
Meet near lake Annecy. After we build our bikes, test out your climbing legs in the foothills surrounding our hotel. Tonight we will enjoy a great dinner , talk about the event and pass out Jerseys.

Stage 1 : Geneva / Megève
Stage 2 : Megève / Les Arcs
Stage 3 : Bourg St Maurice / Serre Chevalier
Stage 4 : Serre Chevalier – Time Trial

Note: deposits are refundable within 3 months prior to the tour date minus a $100 processing fee. Final amount will be due 3 months prior to the tour departure date.

Travel insurance … also known as trip insurance, is recommended for anyone traveling in a foreign country. They are relatively low cost and can protect against unexpected cancellations and depending on the company can provide additional medical coverage, property damage, theft etc. For our tours we recommend CSA Travel Protection. Cancellation Policy … In the event that you have to cancel your trip the following rules apply to regularly scheduled tours. Private tours may have additional guidelines.
- 100% of deposit refunded within 30 day of payment
- $100 administration fee within 3 months prior to tour start date
- 50% refund within 1 month prior to the tour start date
- Medical emergencies are on a case by case bases
- Travel insurance is always recommended
